Yesterday, Griffin State School officially opened their new $20M learning facilities, designed and delivered by Wiley. These three new buildings contain 30 classrooms, staff rooms, amenities, sporting courts, a playground and landscaped areas, an undercover carpark and an open carpark. These additions enable the school to expand their capacity, ready to welcome future students.
Education Minister Grace Grace opened the new buildings to the school community. The Wiley team attended to tour the new facilities and see the students enjoying the now complete facility.
Griffin State School’s Principal, Vicki Baker said – “They have done an absolutely amazing job, and can I just say that they have been an absolute joy to work with. Creating a better future is the motto of their organisation and they have absolutely delivered on this. We are really going to miss you guys”
Wiley Project Manager, Pat Wills said “Congratulations Griffin State School on your new facility! We have very much enjoyed working with the school and the Department of Education to deliver this project. We know the children and community will love the new facility and we are honoured to have been part of delivering it.”
