Last Friday, Wiley had the privilege of being part of a momentous occasion at Seven Hills State School. We officially broke ground on the construction of their new multipurpose hall—a project that promises to transform the educational experience for the students and community of Seven Hills.ย
๐ With great enthusiasm and in the presence of esteemed guests, including Hon. Di Farmer, State Member of Parliament for Bulimba, Minister for Employment and Small Business, Minister for Training and Skills Development and Minister for Youth Justice, Seven Hills State School Principal, Michelle Morrisey, Wiley’s Managing Director, Suzie Wiley, and Wiley’s Operations Director, Tom Wilson we embarked on this exciting journey.ย
The ceremony was opened with Seven Hills student leaders delivering an Acknowledgment of Country to the traditional owners, theย Turrbal peoples. After remarks from Hon. Di Farmer and Principal, Michelle Morrisey, students and representatives from Wiley joined them in the symbolic sod turning.ย ย
๐ ๏ธ This multipurpose hall project represents our commitment to delivering state-of-the-art facilities that enhance the learning environment and elevate the community experience. Beyond the hall itself, the new facility includes enhanced accessibility for the school including an elevator and suspend link bridge, and 35 car spaces including two dedicated spaces for people with a disability. We are thrilled to collaborate with Seven Hills State School and grateful for the trust they’ve placed in Wiley.ย
๐ We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who attended the sod-turning ceremony and to all our dedicated team members who are working tirelessly to bring this vision to life. Together, we’re building the future.ย
