Wiley and Diageo have won highly commended for the Queensland Individual category for Commercial Construction $5-$25M award for the Bundaberg Rum Visitor Centre led by Logan Ashmole at the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) Professional Excellence Awards in Brisbane.
The award was hotly contested with 31 entrants into the category in Queensland. There were four highly commended winners on the night and Wiley shares their congratulations to each of them.
Logan Ashmole who led the team as Wiley project manager said “I was very fortunate to project manage this exciting project for the Bundaberg Rum Distilling Company, Diageo and the surrounding regions. I led a team of food and beverage specialists to ensure all of the client’s business and project objectives were exceeded, which deems this project as a great success.With zero harm, no industrial relations matters and a quality facility being delivered, it was an honour for me to represent Wiley on this project. Many strong relationships were built during the journey.
Visitors can now experience the Bundaberg Rum brand story and history through an exciting interactive self-guided tour. This Visitor Experience Centre sets a new benchmark for tourism, not only in Australia, but around the world.”
